HARTFORD – State Representative Rob Sampson has received the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business in his bid for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives.

NFIB is the nation’s leading small business association, with offices in Washington, DC and all 50 states.  Founded in 1943 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, NFIB gives small and independent business owners a voice in shaping the public policy issues that affect their business.  NFIB’s powerful network of grassroots activists sends their views directly to state and federal lawmakers through our unique member-only ballot, thus playing a critical role in supporting America’s free enterprise system.  NFIB’s mission is to promote and protect the right of its members to own, operate and grow.

“As a small businessman myself, I understand the hardships and share many of the same concerns the NFIB fights for,” Sampson said.  “It’s an honor to have the support of this valuable organization to ensure that the fundamental principles of free enterprise and capitalism are vocalized in Hartford.  I will have and will continue to fight for the small businesses both in my district and around the state.  As jobs and the economy are paramount on everyone’s mind this election, it is an honor to be the candidate for Wolcott & Southington the NFIB can rely on.”
