Sampson Unanimously Endorsed!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>May 15, 2018<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>For Immediate Release<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact: <a href=\"mailto:info@sampsonforct.com\">info@sampsonforct.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rob Sampson unanimously endorsed as Republican Candidate for 16<sup>th<\/sup> State Senate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wolcott &#8211; Current State Representative Rob Sampson has received the unanimous endorsement of the Republican Party for his run for the 16<sup>th<\/sup> Senate District this November.\u00a0 The convention was held on May 14, 2018 at East Street Eatery in Wolcott.\u00a0 The16<sup>th<\/sup> Senate District includes Southington, Wolcott, Prospect, and parts of Cheshire and Waterbury. \u00a0Representative Sampson is currently serving his fourth term in the state House of Representatives.\u00a0 He is the chairman of the legislature\u2019s Conservative Caucus, and the Ranking Republican on the Insurance &amp; Real Estate committee.<\/p>\n<p>Current State Senator and now endorsed GOP candidate for Lt.
